Speedy deletion of LMM Productions
[edit]A tag has been placed on LMM Productions requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the article or have a copy emailed to you. Speedy deletion of Campbells Bay
[edit]A tag has been placed on Campbells Bay requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of The Flea 88.2
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Flea 88.2, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- WP:NN low power radio station
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Toddst1 (talk) 04:48, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
If you again remove maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles, as you did to The Flea 88.2, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, you will be blocked from editing. Toddst1 (talk) 04:53, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Mfield (talk) 04:59, 21 March 2009 (UTC)Friendly advice...
[edit]The only real way to prove that a subject is notable and thus worthy of an article is by providing references to reliable, third-party sources. Your articles, Campbells Bay and The Flea 88.2 are in danger of being deleted if you can't provide enough reliable sources to prove that they are notable. If you have any questions, you can ask me on my talk page. Good luck, and welcome to Wikipedia. --jhanCRUSH 05:00, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- In addition to that, you have been provided with plenty of information and links in the comments on this talk page. I would encourage you to use the time you are blocked to read the information linked and familiarize yourself with our policies on the areas that have been causing you trouble. The more you understand the reasons why some of the policies exist the easier it will be to write and edit articles that without running up against the same situations. Any questions please ask. Mfield (talk) 05:06, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
- Also note that adding your own name to articles and creating articles specifically so you can add your name is frowned upon by Wikipedia. DerbyCountyinNZ 04:55, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
AfD nomination of The Flea 88.2
[edit]I have nominated The Flea 88.2, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Flea 88.2. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. Toddst1 (talk) 04:19, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:17, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
Stop adding yourself to articles!
[edit]I just reverted your edits (again) from Rangitoto College. You should read the advice above, WP:BIO, WP:COI and WP:Autobiography. You will be blocked again the next time you add something about WP:NN subjects. Toddst1 (talk) 07:39, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:BIO#Lists_of_people. It's in the links above that I urged you to read, but apparently haven't. WP:V also applies. Toddst1 (talk) 18:02, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
