Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in Douglas Layton, makes articles harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Hello, Randaximus. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Douglas Layton, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 22:56, 3 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Douglas Layton

[edit]

Hi, I'm Kudpung. Randaximus, thanks for creating Douglas Layton!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. I appreciate that you will make an effort to address the PROD concerns: This article is little more than a LinkedIn style person profile or CV. mainly though, it appears to be an apparently crafted vehicle for a linkspam farm. Notability is not asserted per WP:BIO. However, this may not prevent the page being passed to the next stage of our deletion processes. Please be sure to remove any disallowed sources and links to websites that do not conform to our criteria at WP:RS, and any links to social or B2B networking sites.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Douglas Layton, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages National Geographic and Vatican (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
