Speedy deletion nomination of MyQ (Print and document solution company)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on MyQ (Print and document solution company), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 1292simon (talk) 10:26, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, Rami9610. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Jimfbleak - talk to me? 12:24, 3 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Usually when COI editors post a company entry, there is a predictable pattern What we sell-history-Our awards, which matched the structure of yours. However, I accept that you appear not to have a COI, so I'll recreate as a draft shortly. Some pointers to improve.
- The draft article title should be Draft:MyQ. A description is unnecessary and promotional.
- Avoid opinions, even if sourced. its products are all focused on increasing efficiency and security of an MFD fleet... which helped them collaborate successfully.... And really a multitude of collaborations. that suggests thousands at least.
- Most of what you have written omits facts that help show notability. The number of employees is only in the infobox, and there's nothing on turnover and profits.
- Have a list format of awards looks promotional, better as sentences. It would help if the awards were notable enough to have their own articles, we know how trade awards proliferate.

Hello, I'm Deb. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.Deb (talk) 08:40, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
Hi. I read your message and I did read your appeal on the Talk page. Moving a draft into article space without waiting for a review is always a mistake, and trying to create an article without first gaining experience in editing is also unwise. I see from your Talk page that you have already received some advice about NPOV editing. I can point to a number of phrases you used that are likely to get an article nominated for speedy deletion:
- "Some examples of the features that are available..."
- "They wanted to explore the potential..." (This really sounds like it's come straight out of an advertising leaflet.)
- "...which helped them collaborate successfully..."
- A section on Awards is also rather superfluous when there is so little detail in the rest of the article - and there is very little that even makes the company sound notable.
If you had left the article in draft space, more experienced editors would have helped you to bring it up to standard. Copying from other articles is not always a good way to go, as they don't always follow good practice. Those other articles may themselves be nominated or deleted in the near future. Deb (talk) 11:47, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, Rami, I don't normally restore text that has been deleted as advertising and this was your second attempt. I recommend you start from scratch and this time use the Wikipedia:Articles for creation facility. Deb (talk) 13:24, 2 October 2020 (UTC)
