I have not been compensated by anyone for my contributions to Wikipedia. All of my edits were made voluntarily, and I did not receive any form of payment, gifts, or services in exchange for these contributions.

I understand that I was blocked because my edits may have appeared to violate Wikipedia’s guidelines on neutrality and conflict of interest. I now realize that I need to be more careful about following Wikipedia’s policies, including ensuring that my edits maintain a neutral point of view and comply with the content standards.

I will contribute information on filmmaking in New York City, TV, and Film Projects.

I am David Ramer, owner and founder of Ramerama Productions. I have made many contributions to the independent film scene in New York City, as well as film festivals around the world. This is not self-promotion or advertising, as the film and television projects can be found on IMDB (internet movie database). I am a known director and this page would serve for education purposes. So you wrote about yourself. This is highly discouraged, see the autobiography policy. Wikipedia is not a place for people to tell about themselves, Wikipedia articles summarize what independent reliable sources choose to say about people that meet our criteria, such as a notable creative professional. In this context there is no difference between "educational" and "promotional".

Is there anything you want to write about other than yourself, or your company and its films? The latter two would require you to declare as a paid editor, as I assume you own and operate your company to earn a living. 331dot (talk) 21:22, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
