Replaceable fair use File:Mimohnew1.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Mimohnew1.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the media description page and edit it to add
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}
, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template. - On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MilborneOne (talk) 20:01, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Armaan Kohli
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Armaan Kohli, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Thanks for uploading File:Raghuvaran1.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:12, 11 October 2012 (UTC)

Mithun Da' photos!
Are you working (or read "can you work") in Dada's photos? There are some 150+ photos which we can upload in Commons and use in Wikipedia too. Of course we don't need all 150+ photos. But, we can upoad the best images. See all the photos we can upload here
If you can upload few image, it'll be very helpful–
- Go to link above, save the images you want to upload in Commons in your computer.
- Go to Commons:Special:UploadWizard.
- Upload file, give descriptive file name.
- In the license field type {{Cc-by-3.0-BollywoodHungama}}
- Mention the exact Bollywood Hungama image page URL, since reviewers will check it later
- Add category: Mithun Chakraborty.
Let me know if you have any question! --Tito Dutta (talk) 18:01, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Mrs. Chakraborty
Can you tell me if this is the image of Yogita Bali. If this is Mrs. Ckrabprty's image we can add it in Wikipedia article on Mrs. Chakraborty! --Tito Dutta (talk) 18:34, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
- Alright, going to upload the image in next few minutes. Can you find which is the correct spelling– Yogeeta or Yogita– I have seen many news articles, they are also confused! I am not uploading any image of Mithun Da. You can work there if you want--Tito Dutta (talk) 21:51, 20 October 2012 (UTC)
Chita
Yes, I have seen the film. Most probably released in 2005 and Rambha was there too. Dada's al most all recent films are direct and very poor copy from Telugu films and Hindi films with exception like Shukno Lanka, Kalpurush etc. --Tito Dutta (talk) 15:36, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
Free image
I can see you have faced some trouble after uploading some images. Don't upload any copyrighted image. I know some sources from where you may get free image (Bollywood Hungama events etc). So, if you need any image and can't find any you can contact me first. BTW, I have added the image of Mrs. Chakraborty in the article Yogeeta Bali two days ago. But, I could not come online for last 2 days for computer problem! --Tito Dutta (talk) 15:41, 22 October 2012 (UTC)
The article Kaanchi has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- WP:NFF - no sources to confirm that it has commenced principal photography.
While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD 13:42, 13 November 2012 (UTC)
Maneej Premnath
Not possible as per current guideline. Bombay Ravi is included for his involvement with Malayalam films.

Disambiguation link notification for December 2
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Grudge Match (2013), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Kevin Hart (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Hello, I'm Geniac. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Mithun Chakraborty filmography seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 17:48, 3 August 2013 (UTC)

Currently I am expanding Swami Vivekananda (film). This image which you uploaded File:MithunSwami.jpg, I can not understand what to do with this image, the quality is very poor, moreover it is non free and does not pass WP:NFCC too.
If you have no problem, the image can be deleted without any trouble, else we may need a deletion discussion.
I'll try to take the article to DYK. I wish to put Mithun Chakraborty's name in the DYK hook. Please make few changes in the article Swami Vivekananda (film), so that I can add your name in DYK credit. Current requirement is "copyediting" the article. --Tito☸Dutta 10:52, 6 September 2013 (UTC)

DYK for Swami Vivekananda (film)
On 11 September 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Swami Vivekananda (film), which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Mithun Chakraborty (pictured) won the National Film Award in the Best Supporting Actor category for his portrayal of Ramakrishna in the 1998 film Swami Vivekananda? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Swami Vivekananda (film). You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
