Hi there. Could I ask for you assistance please, in decoding this, which is on the Telugu Wikipedia? As I had never edited there before today, I was wondering if it was vandalism. Could you please post a translation? Thanks :) Regards, NuclearWarfare (Talk) 02:54, 21 February 2009 (UTC)

User:Srinivas/User S-PS I was just browsing through the Vishnu's Avatars page. I found the Kurma Avatar section. I remembered that I had visited Sri Kurmam, the only temple dedicated to Kurma. I just searched for it in Wikipedia and lo! I found it! I thought I need to start it as many people don't know it! I saw the history and I saw that it was you. Very nice work. Where are the pictures from? How did you get the information? I was very surprised!!! Srinivas G Phani (talk) 10:18, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

Hello, I came across a page today, Raikal, and I can't tell if it is badly formatted or severely vandalized. I don't know enough about the subject matter to tell the difference but based on your contributions I think that you will. Thanks. J04n(talk page) 19:48, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on V. Ishwaraiah requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Lәo(βǃʘʘɱ) 08:16, 28 July 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Bhadram Koduko requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Proposed deletion of International Telugu Institute

The article International Telugu Institute has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

lacks 3rd party references demonstrating notability.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. RadioFan (talk) 12:30, 19 August 2009 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Dr. B. C. Roy Award, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.mciindia.org/awards/award_bc_roy.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 12:47, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi. The problem with Kopparapu Sodara Kavulu is that your article copied text from another website, which is forbidden on Wikipedia unless the external website is licensed compatibly. (See our copyrights policy.) While I appreciate that the revisions have subsequently altered some of this text to a form we can use, some of it remained too close to the source. For example, "The poet-duo were known for their fluency in composing poems on any subject extempore at breathtaking pace. They were also known for their unique skill of composing even Khandakavyas extempore very quickly." still contains creative text and composition from http://www.hindu.com/fr/2005/09/16/stories/2005091601720200.htm. Closely following a copyrighted source frequently will not remove the copyright problem. Text should be written completely in your own words, unless you are briefly quoting material for the reasons and in the way described at the non-free content policy and guideline.

I've rewritten the remaining problems in this article, but wanted to stop by to reinforce the importance of rewriting text. I see that you've been notified of this issue before, [1]. Please be very careful to stay within the copyrights policy. Contributors who persist in copying material from other sources will be blocked from editing. This is a policy Wikipedia must take very seriously, for its own protection. Because of where it is physically organized, Wikipedia is bound by the copyright laws of the United States and must take steps to make sure that all contributors comply with it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 11:36, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
