Rather too much detail

Hello, just a note that you may be wasting your time by adding too much detail at Hydro Dynamics (FIRST), or at any similar articles. Rightly or wrongly, English Wikipedia frowns on excessively intricate detail that's of interest only to limited audiences, especially if it has not been noted by secondary sources.

If there is much more similar information that you want to compile in a wiki format, it might be worth finding or creating a place for it somewhere like Wikia instead.

There's no real harm in adding it here on Wikipedia for now, but don't be too disappointed if someone turns up and starts pruning it all away. MPS1992 (talk) 20:34, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from Minister for the Union, which you proposed for deletion. The existence of the position has now been confirmed, as indictated by a source I added to the page. Hurricane dorian

Hi. I was wondering what your reasoning is for this. A quick check of WikiProject Tropical Cyclones showed no guideline for keeping the same image until the storm ends, and in fact seems to encourage adding multiple images. You can and should keep updating the satellite image to keep it accurate and current. Trump-Ukraine controversy

Hi. Although I appreciate your contribution to this article [1] Twitter is not considered to be a reliable source and this probably should be removed. Maybe you could remove it? Also, this would not count for purposes of 1RR because you are removing your own addition to the article. Thanks. Also, the phrase, "99 out of 100 historians", is most likely hyperbole and not necessarily accurate. ---Steve Quinn (talk) 21:54, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi! While I appreciate the info, I would like to inform you that the edit I made was restoring an edit made by another user that I removed during an edit conflict. I have noticed that the SVG you uploaded is poorly traced and is now listed in Category: SVGs needing revectorization. While most submissions are useful, do you think you might be able to supply a better quality version of the same, or similar content? You can either upload an improved version or simply allow the file to be deleted. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask me, a member of the Graphic Lab, or the SVG help page. Uploading images in SVG format isn't mandatory, but it would help. In all cases, please do not take this message personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you, and happy editing!

User profile

Hello Rainclaw7. I noticed your profile on the Infinite Recharge article was blue, so I clicked on it. I saw all the neat banners, including one that said you are a mentor. How can I add and create one of those? I am new to Wikipedia (not FRC, joined a team during Steamworks) and I'd like to know how you did it :). Thanks so much! When you log in, you should be able to click on your username in the top right hand corner in order to access your userpage. It works the same as creating a normal page, guidelines are at WP:UP. You can find all existing userboxes, including FIRST ones, at WP:UBG. FIRST is under interests, then memberships. Rainclaw7 (talk) 17:26, 9 January 2020 (UTC)
I know how to do that, and I found ones I want on my page (set it in my Sandbox). I'm just wondering how to get it in a sidebar like yours, rather than links to them. I could do it on Chief Delphi, before the change to viewing it if that helps in how to explain it.Frasererin01 (talk) 18:04, 9 January 2020 (UTC)

Commercial Crew Program

Hey there. I just wanted to give you a heads up that you threw way too much out into the Commercial Crew Program for me to handle at the moment; I think it's best that we go about this step-by-step over the coming days so that the article isn't immediately a mess. I've gone reverted it back to how it was before the edit so that we can work from there. I just don't wanna be overworked with this one article, that's all! To quote myself, I said "this general outline for an expanded CCP article would work", not that it was perfect. There's many things than need to change, such as more concise wording, correction of various facts presented, citation formatting, box designs, consolidated paragraphs, and delegation of information to Development of the Commercial Crew Program, among other things. Your sandbox page serves as a great guide on developing the article, but in my opinion it doesn't work well being the article itself. It's much easier for me to simply write the material from scratch, especially when checking claims and verifying them with the correct sources, than sifting through something already pre-written and trying to make a new article out of it. – PhilipTerryGraham (talk · articles · reviews) 02:32, 27 June 2020 (UTC)

First lists it as Chinese Taipei so that’s what it’s listed as (Also sorry for also saying this on your talk page I forgor about this lol)
