Sky blue
[edit]Hi, Raiminga! Thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia. I just wanted to let you know that I have undone your change to Sky blue because the color you added was already included in the article further down. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page or ask at the Teahouse. Happy editing! Perfect4th (talk) 15:30, 17 May 2022 (UTC)
Your edit to Shades of blue
[edit]Please don't replace a reliable source, a reference to the National Bureau of Standards, with a link to a site which is 'official' only because that's the name the owners gave their website. The 'Official Register of Color Names' is a site where, as its own terms state, 'Website users are allowed to suggest or give new color names in the Official Register of Colors Names'. This is not a reliable source. Thank you. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 10:23, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
Wikipedia's conflict of interest guideline
[edit]Hello, Raimiga. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted.
Your sole purpose in editing Wikipedia seems to be to add links to the so-called 'Official Register of Color Names'. This is not an appropriate use of Wikipedia. BlackcurrantTea (talk) 12:05, 31 July 2022 (UTC)
