Cliff Hangers

[edit]

Hey...do you happen to remember when the incident you noted on the Cliff Hangers page occurred? I usually assume that things added here that I haven't heard of before didn't actually happen, but shomehow, you strike me as someone who wouldn't do something like this if you weren't reasonably sure it was real. -TPIRFanSteve 00:03, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks! I distinctly remember it happening, but it was (I believe) when I was a teenager, so it would have been in the mid-to-late 1980's sometime. It's one of the few distinct TPIR memories I have. Raider Duck 01:58, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I'll take your word for it, then.
By the way, might I invite you to golden-road.net? We have a lot of "distinct TPIR memories" in our FAQ, which I'm responsible for maintaining. -TPIRFanSteve 02:56, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, when you want to link to the article about something British, please do not link to British, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as United Kingdom, Great Britain or British English by writing out [[United Kingdom|British]] or [[Great Britain|British]]. Orphaned fair use image (Image:AllTunes.JPG)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:AllTunes.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 04:23, 12 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Made a small revert to your changes that seemed redundant but left the rest ... are you a DP historian? I'm fairly well-versed on the "New" Steppenwolf stuff, but the Deep Purple info I only know through investigating Steppenwolf. If so, I would like to compare notes... Sealand

[edit]

Hi, since I know that you are interested for the Principality of Sealand, I would inform you that there is a petition, addressed to the United States, to recognize this micronation.

https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/we-demand-government-united-states-recognizes-principality-sealand/8gQRRcLS

If we get at least 150 signatures, it will be visible to the world. Share the link, if you like, thanks. --93.62.12.206 (talk) 13:12, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

November 2024

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Template:Las Vegas Raiders staff. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:04, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:10, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
