Your question
[edit]Hello, I will try to answer your question about the map,
In most states in the United States, cities do exist like "islands" in the "sea", and not the whole state is divided into municipalities like Finland is. So there are many areas that do not exist inside any city or town.
The large lines on that map show the boundaries for native american reservations.
Hope that answers your question! Regards, Arkyan • (talk) 05:30, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, Native American reservations are the same as Indian reservations. There are several in Arizona, over 20 but I am not sure of the exact number. Not all the land that is not in a municipality is in an indian reservation, in Apache County most of the non-municiapality land is in a reservation but not always. I am not sure why the maps show slightly different boundaries, I used detailed maps provided by the US census bureau to draw the boundaries and it is possible they are more accurate since they are more detailed. [edit]Kylläpä kysyit vaikeata :D Palaan asiaan jussin jälkeen. Yritän kysyä kääntäjäkollegoilta ehdotuksia noille termeille, koska yleisin kieliparini on suomi-englanti, eikä toisin päin. Hyvää juhannusta! -Yupik 12:58, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
