Orphaned fair use image (Image:Roxannegym.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Roxannegym.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. License tagging for Image:Subtitlebk220001.PNG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Subtitlebk220001.PNG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 03:09, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

location images

[edit]

i want to foremost thank you for creating those detailed images of all the towns, the time it must have taken is unthinkable. I only noticed your effort becuase i am reorganizing the 1000+ pokemon related images we have, and try to more efficiently categorize them. A large number of your images were not uploaded with a fair-use rationale. It's easy to add for pokemon related pages, raven made a template you can subst at {{pokefair}}. I started doing it for you, but soon realized how many needed rationalizations (i've been putting in a rationale on warned images ;) ). Many of the images also need a summary, the one you were using saying you created it using Advance Map is fine, along with the name of the town would be adequate. Thanx! You can heck my contributions and sort them by Image to follow my footsteps for easier access. -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 08:45, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Ajpoke.JPG

[edit]
Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Ajpoke.JPG. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. May the Force be with you! Shreshth91 07:04, 14 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for Image:LRT.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:LRT.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Orphaned images

[edit]

Since all of the city articles have been merged into List of Kanto locations, List of Hoenn locations, and List of Johto locations, they are all now orphaned and will be deleted within seven days. Hbdragon88 08:34, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protection

[edit]

AMIB can't respond, as he was blocked for 24 hours about seven hours before you requested his help. I just looked, and I'm not sure that the level of vandalism requried for semi-protection. You can file a request at WP:RFPP if you think that protection is needed, though. Hbdragon88 22:33, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

List of Pokemon episodes

[edit]

The episode titles are supposed to be in Hiragana, they are OFFICIAL. The Hiragana titles are on the TV TOkyo website, Pokemon.jp, Pokeani. THe Kanji titles of the original series ARE NOT TRUE. So if the episode titles are originally in Hiragana THEY should be kept like it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Togepicutie (talkcontribs) 13:16, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image request

[edit]

Because i;ve gone through a lot of the images lately, i've come to understand you have the means to create images of the tile maps within the pokemon games. I'm currently trying to improve the Feebas article and would like to include a picture of Rt 119 from RSE to demonstrate how vast the area is which makes Feebas so difficult to capture. any correspondence on this matter I'd like left on my talk page. (oh yes, and you may have missed the discussion at the project, but there are now new, more specific templates to use when tagging images) -ΖαππερΝαππερ BabelAlexandria 20:45, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was surprised at your revert on the Johto page. Any reason? The current version does away with unneccessary subheads and makes it more than a simple list of locations and people in Johto. Kindly use the talk page for such drastic reverts. --WoodElf 07:46, 5 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Pokemon Episode numbers

[edit]

Stop reverting the page to the incorrect numbers. the numbers are from http://www.pokemon.com/#tvmovies (the official pokemon website of America) and the site says that my verison is correct. KidsWB are not offical, they missed up and aired the episodes not in order. WE SHOULD AND ONLY USE THE EPISODE NUMBERS FROM THE OFFICAL POKEMON SITE (http://www.pokemon.com/#tvmovies). Also accourding to http://www.pokemon.co.jp/ all of the titles from Kanto --> Johto DO NOT HAVE KANJI in there titles, so the japanese titles from episode 1-276 are incorrect so we MOST change them to their OFFICAL JAPANESE--(http://www.pokemon.co.jp/anime/tv/pokemon.html)

If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 05:01, 29 December 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —Remember the dot (talk) 05:01, 29 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
