Notes on pit bull content
[edit]Hi, I saw that your content at pit bull was reverted by another editor, Roxy the dog, who stated that it was an unsourced essay.
At first glance the content does look to be unsourced because while you do have names at the end of some sentences that suggests that content may have been pulled from a specific source, you don't have any information about what the source would be. (Book, news article, etc.) It does look like you tried to keep this neutral, however at times it does look like you drew your own conclusions based on existing sourcing - this is something that was exacerbated by the lack of in-line citations.
As far as content about pro and anti pit bull sentiments go, it looks like some of this is already in the article at Pit_bull#Breed_specific_legislation, however I do think that there may be an argument for a section that discusses public perceptions about pit bulls. This would have to be very carefully crafted, though, and I do think that you should have someone familiar with the article and past conversations about the page help you write this. Roxy - are you familiar with this page or know someone who may be, if this looks like a viable idea? Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 20:41, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
- I'm not familiar with the subject, but I'll bite the knees off of anybody who adds unsourced content. This type of dog unfortunatly does have a bad reputation, but I personally believe that we should look to the owner, rather than the breed, or the type, of dog. -Roxy, Zalophus californianus. barcus 20:45, 11 December 2017 (UTC)
