Dispute resolution survey
[edit]
Dispute Resolution – Survey Invite Hello Ajl772. I am currently conducting a study on the dispute resolution processes on the English Wikipedia, in the hope that the results will help improve these processes in the future. Whether you have used dispute resolution a little or a lot, now we need to know about your experience. The survey takes around five minutes, and the information you provide will not be shared with third parties other than to assist in analyzing the results of the survey. No personally identifiable information will be released. Please click HERE to participate. You are receiving this invitation because you have had some activity in dispute resolution over the past year. For more information, please see the associated research page. Saw your name associated with the nativity of Christ
[edit]I was hoping I could bring to light the fact that the timing of Christ's birth is incorrect. If you have anything to do with this article I would love to share some insight on this. You can reach me at my email: elohimislife@live.com I could show where i found what i have found on the birth of the Messiah — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12thebeginning (talk • contribs) 21:23, 24 July 2012 (UTC)
New message from User:Pier440
[edit]Hey Ajl772 - I'm not that familiar with how the messaging works on Wikipedia. I'll restate what I've written on the Talk page of the article you cited for potential deletion.
Hey there. The original article was at "DaGuai LuZi". My concern here is that the naming convention may not be ideal. At a minimum, it should be "Daguai Luzi" to be using standard Mandarin capitalization (for example, you don't see "BeiJing" or "ShangHai". The "DaGuai LuZi" page is being redirected here. I think there are some people who know the game as "Wild Escape" or I've heard "The Joker's Way". I just thought Wild Escape had a better ring to it.
If you want to be a purist, the game can be found in lots of Chinese game websites.

Is the concern more about the English name, or the relevance? I believe it is played enough to be relevant. Pier440 (talk) 20:00, 31 March 2015 (UTC)Pier440
- I can't speak to the issue of being nominated for deletion (I didn't nominate it for deletion), other than to link you to the actual AfD page, and to the reason given in the AfD: WP:GNG (general notability guideline). I also can't speak regarding the naming issue. I am not knowledgeable enough in that area to provide any assistance. There are many other editors that do have that knowledge, however. – radar33 04:36, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
- Also, consider responding to the deletion nomination on the AfD page. – radar33 04:38, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
