[edit]Hi. Welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for working to improve the site with your edits to the Bryan Talbot article. Because we disagree on which would make the better photo for the Infobox (the article subject does not get to unilaterally control this), I've started a consensus discussion on the article's talk page here, and have invited other editors who work on comics-related articles to weigh in. If a consensus emerges that one of the versions of the July 2007 photo is preferable, then I will not oppose keeping that one in the Infobox. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:02, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
Just a heads up
[edit]I have collapsed the comments you made just recently on the Bryan Talbot article. You have clearly indicated that you received contact from the subject who asked you to edit the article for them to place an image they liked there. This is a form of advocacy editing. In the future you should either inform the subject that Wikipedia discourages such editing or place the image into a draft in your user space and start a discussion on the talk page to form a consensus on whether to use the image as they supplied.--Amadscientist (talk) 11:30, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
I'm trying to stand back from this but clearly not far enough. It's likely that Bryan Talbot will send me a recent photograph and I'll do as you suggest. I thought in collapsing my comments you lost my own views, so I have extracted them from the hidden text and put them back in plain view. You'll see I am now suggesting that photo D be used.
