Welcome
[edit]Hello, RStoakes and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, if your class doesn't already have one.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}}
before the question.
Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.
It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}}
on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.
We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished!

Will get on that, probably tomorrow. Jack's the one writing the article, though, so you might want to ask him how it's going. :) --RStoakes (talk) 19:05, 16 February 2013 (UTC)
Congrats... You asked an awesome question in the Teahouse!
[edit]Hey RStoakes! Thanks for your question at the Teahouse about whether/if/how to create an article on a new topic. Some pages you might want to reference for consultation are WP:CFORK and WP:FIRST. Both explain when/how to create a new subject, especially one that is part of a larger topic. Please come by the Teahouse any time with more great questions!

[edit]If we haven't already decided, I think we should make expand the "Simple English" language on the topic we chose. Let me know what you think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dwatson251 (talk • contribs) 18:25, 20 March 2014 (UTC) ==
Hey Rob
[edit]Hey User:RStoakes I have seen that you are doing Uncertainty reduction theory for your presentation. Have you managed to edit a sentence on actual wiki page on that topic? Any suggestions that section could be edited? J.podolski (talk) 14:03, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
- Hey J.podolski check the talk page of the Uncertainty reduction theory page, there you can see what people are working on and some areas you may want to look to change. --JPeachman (talk) 09:18, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

- Try using the Good Article criteria as a guide - these are the criteria that an article needs to meet in order to be adjudged among Wikipedia's best work. You don't have to meet them straight off, but they'll give you an idea of what to look at when reviewing a page. Yunshui 雲水 13:49, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
