Notability

[edit]

Hi. You might remember me from #asperger although its been a long time since Ive been going there. I just came to tell you that your article is probably going to need a bit more for sources than what youve got so far. Specifically it needs to meet the notability criteria for politicians laid out at Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Politicians, and have reliable references to show that it does. Soap 02:05, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually now that I think of it, you would need references to show that you're on the autistic spectrum as well. Soap 02:06, 19 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
You're really going to have to come up with sources to verify all of the claims in your article or else they'll likely end up being removed (by me or someone else). Furthermore in order to meet the notability criteria for politicians you must show that youve been in mainstream news sources, as defined by WP:POLITICIAN. Soap 20:51, 23 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kenneth Horn has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of satisfying either general notability guideline or WP:POLITICIAN.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. I have nominated Ryan McReynolds, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ryan McReynolds. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
