Not Quite Felicity

[edit]

At this point it doesn't look like its going to get deleted, and if someone nominates it for an Article for Deletion (AfD), there will at least be a vote. I would just leave the article as is right now, and leave the future template at the top on there.--Gephart 20:00, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Mansmil.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Mansmil.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:45, 14 July 2006 (UTC)

Not Quite Felicity

[edit]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Not Quite Felicity, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Spoilers on BB 8

[edit]

Hi there. I haven't been involved in the article for a few days. That said, objections such as yours have alread been addressed, in fact, I had the same objections. If you read through the article's talk page history, perhaps the archived ones would be a better place to start to see the discussions on why the spoilers are there and had gained consensus. That's why there are banners and notes on the page to warn others that there are spoilers. That was part of the compromise. Cheers! - Jeeny Talk 17:19, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your editing to Big Brother 8

[edit]

Hello. Apparently you have some problems with the way that the page is being edited. I am not going to start a whole argument with you, so just note this: You did the proper thing by opening a discussion about "Article containing unaired spoilers". Thank you. Hopefully your questions were answered. You claim that everybody else should start editing the page the way you want (without spoilers). It has been discussed on the talk page again, and again we have decided that the page will stay how it is. Today, you keep (twice) changing Eric's latest task to TBA. We change it to correctly note it has been completed, and even state that in the edit summary, but you just changed it back anyways. Please, if you make an edit, and it gets reverted, the safest thing to do is use the talk page, rather than reverting it back again. This is because many of us have been working on the page for a long time, and we know about the previous discussions and decisions that have been made about the page. You might want to consider (if you haven't already) reading through the Archives of the Big Brother Talk Page to familiarize yourself with things that have been decided about this page. And just a reminder, be careful not to violate the 3-revert rule. Thank You. - Rjd0060 21:57, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Big Brother

[edit]

Ideally, this should be done yourself. The page at WP:RFC provides instructions on how to do this; it's not very difficult. Before you do this, however, I do recommend you step back from the situation for a short while. You are getting rather excitable, which isn't helping matters. "Bub" isn't an offensive name, and while that editor was certainly being sarcastic, he wasn't out to insult you. Please remember to assume good faith and treat the situation with civility. Try keeping the CAPS LOCK turned off so people don't think you're shouting, and look at the situation one more time. If you still need help with the RFC, I will start it up for you later tonight. I'd prefer you be the one to do it, however, as I'm not really involved in the situation. Hersfold (t/a/c) 22:28, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for comment

[edit]

RMThompson, I personally wanted to apologize for the way I worded a comment left on the talk page of Big Brother 9 (U.S.). In the comment I believe I said "bub" that may have caused some sort of offense. I didn't mean it personally I was just simply stating that Big Brother: After Dark did premier Tuesday night as scheduled. I meant nothing bad by it. I also responded to this on the talk page as well. And you message on my talk page you didn't need the caps on, to me when people use their caps in that manner I think they are yelling or being rude. Other people think this as well. Also another reason I worded my comments eairlier the way I did is due to family issues I am dealing with. I am sorry if I took any of my anger or aggression out on you. I do tend to get sarcastic sometimes. I hope this clears up the matter and again I do apologize for any offense this may have caused. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 04:53, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One on one discussion about the spoiler issue for Big Brother 9

[edit]

I just want to discuss one on one with you about the spoiler issue for Big Brother 9 US and just like Rjd0060 said that a consensus was reached last year (I too missed out on the discussion) so last year I didn't push the issue. Another good reason to post information like who is HoH, Veto, Nominations, etc prior to the broadcast is the number of anonymous IP contributions. A lot of people would just change the page adding the information then editors would have to spend extra time correcting these issues if the spoilers wasn't included. And just like Rjd0060 again fansites can be used but only certain ones with a NPOV and that have proven to be reliable. If we rely solely on the CBS site I believe that is not acceptable either since CBS is the broadcaster. (I believe there was a similar issue over some of the sources for some UK Big Brother articles for using too many Channel 4 references and not enough third party references.) And CBS/Showtime uses the live feeds as the base for the main shows on CBS and BB After Dark on Showtime. Due to the nature of the show CBS can't change the outcome of an event that happed on the live feeds and the broadcast show. By even trying to due so CBS could be fined in some way. I personally don't want the spoilers on the page for the people who do stick to the CBS broadcast only but the positive out ways the negative. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 05:06, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I say that the tag should stay at the top but update the Infobox and Highlight section as the show airs on CBS, then update say the Voting History table along with the feeds/Showtime since it is at the bottom and if possible put another tag there. It is easier to hid the Voting History but the Infobox is at the top. I am not sure if everyone would go for it. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 18:28, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Just present this idea in the talk page of Big Brother 9 and see what everyone else thinks. The point here is some sort of consensus. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 23:58, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
