Early life
[edit]Rishiraj is the eldest son of Mohan singh and his wife Smt. Kamlesh devi. His grandfather was a Rajput from Rajasthan[3] who immigrated to India and settled in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Charak is a surname of Dogra Rajput clan. Khan belongs to Pathan Muslim family through his father while Khan's mother is reported to be a Dogra Hindu. His family celebrate Islamic and Hindu festivals such as Maha Shivaratri and Ganesh Chaturthi.[4]
Career
[edit]2009–present: commercial success
[edit]2009 marked a significant turning point in Khan's career.Starting with Wanted, directed by choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva became a boxoffice success and earned superhit status.[5] In the same year, he appeared in two other films, Main Aurr Mrs Khanna and London Dreams. While London Dreams doing average business, only due to the uninspiring music, but Main Aurr Mrs Khanna was a commercial failure.[6] Khan's first release of 2010 was Anil Sharma's commercially and critically unsuccessful film Veer.
