Nice edits on the Ardyth Kennelly article!

[edit]

Hello--thank you for adding some citations and doing some cleanup on the Ardyth Kennelly article. As publisher of Ardyth's late-life work, I made some edits and additions years ago, but I don't know who wrote the original article--which included quite a bit of editorializing, some of which I see you (properly) removed.

I'm not an experienced Wikipedia editor, and I don't plan to do further edits on the article until I publish more of her work, or unless significant new information comes to light. As a former copyeditor, I appreciate your edits and agree with most of them.

I do think "The" should be included within the quotation marks around "Improvement Era" when mentioned in the text (except when used as an adjective). That's the full title.

A second small quibble is that it's not really correct to say, in the first paragraph, that she moved between Oregon and Utah "throughout" her childhood. She moved once to Utah and then once back to Oregon (when she was about 11). Perhaps better to say something like "and grew up in Salt Lake City and Albany, Oregon."

Thanks again, and I wish you success in your editing and publishing career! NancyJWT (talk) 07:06, 17 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Alice Louise Reynolds, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Democratic Party. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Margaret C.
