Hello and welcome to Wikipedia!
Here are some tips to help you get started:
- Read the article describing how to edit a page and feel free to experiment in the Sandbox.
- When editing pages, use the preview button before submitting and try to fill in the summary box for every edit.
- Eventually, read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.
- If you need help, post a question in the Newcomers' Village Pump or ask me on my talk page.
- Explore, be bold in editing pages, and, most importantly, have fun!
Good luck!

P.S. One last helpful hint. To sign your posts like I did above (on talk pages, for example) use the '~' symbol. To insert just your name, type ~~~ (3 tildes), or to insert your name and timestamp, use ~~~~ (4 tildes).
(the above is adapted from the welcome given me some time ago by Jrdioko)
Harvard arms issue
[edit]Hi. Who are you, please? In particular, 1) are you User:217.44.61.126? 2) are you in any way connected officially with Harvard University; and if so, how? Doops 22:37, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC) P.S. I have added this page to my watchlist, so if you reply below I will see it.
Please use the talk page to discuss the issue instead of simply removing the image. Also, you are about to run afoul of the three-revert rule, and liable to be blocked from editing if you continue. --Michael Snow 23:06, 20 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Three-revert rule
[edit]I am blocking you for a 24-hour period because of your violation of the Wikipedia:Three revert rule, for your four reversions to the Harvard University article.

Happy ending?
[edit]I'm sorry; I don't really understand your unhappiness with the Harvard article. Please feel free to explain on my talkpage. I think most editors would be genuinely interested to hear your views on how to make this article better. I promise that I will take anything you have to say seriously. Doops 05:07, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Copied from User_Talk:Doops:Thanks anyway, but I should probably stay off-line. =) Take care. RGluckman 05:11, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
