Communication Attempt with LA partner

[edit]

Hi Sarah!

My name is R.D. Mira and I believe we will be working together on this wikipedia assignment for my conservation biology class and your landscape architecture class. I previously left you a post on your talk page. However, if you did not receive it, please allow me to fill you in quickly.

Originally, I was planning on writing a wiki page on Conservation International Philippines. However, I just was running into too many roadblocks in terms of research and communication with the people in charge of that organization. As of this past weekend, I changed my topic to a species named Draco mindanensis (Mindanao Flying Dragon). It is a lizard native to the Philippines that can glide with the use of skin folds that are used as wings.

Some photos of it can be found here: http://mczbase.mcz.harvard.edu/guid/MCZ:Herp:R-26200

Also, feel free to visit my sandbox (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:RDMira/sandbox) I've been working on.

I look forward to hearing from you soon and seeing what types of things you can create to help my page! RDMira (talk) 15:40, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 20:11, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
