My one deleteable was an odd one. It had one sentence at the top, and then various headlines, but nothing else. I'll see if I can find it. - Pureblade | 05:51, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Here it is: Saint-Manvieu-Norrey. - Pureblade | 05:55, 16 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Your results

[edit]

You did not, by chance, keep a tally of how many pages fit your description? I know little about statistics, but what I do know might be able to be of use to you. I've seen many various experiments on this topic, and I'd be interested in a large-scale RandomPage check, as I believe it would be really useful, and preserve/restore/gain the credibility our favorite encyclopedia needs. You raise an interesting point in the discussion between the Inclusionists and the Deletionists. I personally feel that fancrufty articles, while great to be wiki'd, should go on their respective Wikicity, if at all. Wikipedia, being an encyclopedia, is not the place for articles on the minor details of your city and street, in my oppinion. I personally feel that Wikipedia should serve as an encyclopedia first, and a database second. Many pages on movies, music, and books, and others are notable, and many are well-written, but there are many exceptions, which is one of the great things, and one of the disadvantages to a Wiki. If you wouldn't mind sending me the data, I'll see what I can do on it. Thanks, and happy editing, Mysekurity e-mail 01:39, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

All interesting stuff. Thanks for doing this, and I'll get on the analysis of either your data or mine once I have the time. Thank you, and may the force be with you. Oh yeah, talk to me more often! I'm trying to branch out to as many people as I can now, sort of as a way to integrate myself into the community. Any thoughts, feelings, etc., leave them at my talk page, and I'll be more than happy to respond. Thanks for doing this! --Mysekurity e-mail 05:29, 4 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Article Count

[edit]

I found a template or variable with the official Article Count: 6,909,914. Gbeeker (talk) 21:06, 1 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

A live count based on an interpolated polynomial (with updating coefficients based on mpac3.1) can be found here Wikicount.net — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.26.185.76 (talk) 23:37, 25 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
