Peter Hill Wood
I've added two references, can you check you are happy with them as one is from Arsenal News Review, Myles is prone to some exageration. I don't want to imply anything incorrect but I think we can be sure Peter and Chips are good friends and the timing of Chips recruitment to the board strengthened the Clubs City contacts at exactly the time they needed to raise £200m for the new stadium.
I think we now have the most comprehensive details of the Arsenal board and key shareholders. While Fiszman and Dein are well cataloged no one has picked up on the Bracewell-Smith family who have a sizable stake and influence (Lady Nina, Clive and Richard Carr) they also do not appear to have any heirs and so their shareholding will come onto the market eventually.
Keep up the good work.

Joe O'Cearuill
I'm not sure the information on Joe O'Cearuill is correct. I don't recall any loan at Leyton Orient, and I search through the Watford site doesn't have anything. He was only listed in Watford's youth academy listings last year, so it could well be that was released by Orient and joined us. Indeed, I think I've heard that said before. Racism in football
Hi, noticed you've flagged this article as being 'unbalanced' - what do you think we should include to create a neutral point of view? Maybe include examples of early black players who succeeded and overcame prejudice e.g. Arthur Wharton? GiantSnowman 12:58, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Hi, have added a wider range of stories, including UK, Germany & Netherlands. Hope you approve! GiantSnowman 18:59, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with Image:James.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:James.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}

Please specify the copyright information and source on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Yamla 16:12, 30 November 2006 (UTC)

- Yeah, I noticed that on the Arsenal page. I was experimenting just there with the AC Milan template. I'm trying to get the Club template to stay at the same width while leaving the Serie A template the same width. I can't seem to do it. - You can use it in infobox stats as an invisible leading zero.
Thus
- 100 (50)
- 50 (5)
- 1 (0)
using
* 100 (50) * {{0}}50 (5) * {{0}}{{0}}1 (0)
can become
- 100 (50)
- 50 (5)
- 1 (0)
Hope this helps. -- Mattythewhite 08:04, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

Igot rid of it and moved the facts into other parts of the article like you suggested. However Chappy84 wants to keep it. I really want to get this up to at least GA standed. I'm in the middle of trying to includes every player to have made 100 appearances on List of Manchester City F.C. players, but for some of the earlier players even the most basic biographical info is hard to find. The above two players also played for Arsenal at some point, do any of your Arsenal books have any information on either of them? I'm primarily looking for Buchan's position. - Thanks, far more than I was hoping for, great stuff. I had teamsheet data implying that both were half-backs (assuming a 2-3-5 formation), as they were both generally listed fourth or fifth, but didn't want to get into the realm of original research. I've changed the stats for Hynds, as I managed to double-source the figure of 171 using one of my books and the fantastically comprehensive but awkwardly Flash based mcfcstats.com. - Vile isn't it? Takes forever to get to what you want, can't use back/forward/middle click/refresh, can't link citations properly, content doesn't show up in Google results. The type of site MySQL is perfect for, but for some unfathomable reason it has been put together using a multimedia package. Yet despite this, the data hidden within is great, it even has a full record of wartime matches. Oldelpaso 22:04, 2 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi - I note your tweaks to the parts of the Tom Parker article I added earlier this morning. Thanks. It need a bit of tidying up.
You added a "citation" reference to one section. That particular phrase is straight out of the Duncan Holley book mentioned in the References section at the bottom. Do you know how I can link a reference to a particular page of a book?
At some time I want to expand the Don Roper article, especially as his son is a business associate of mine. Perhaps when I've done it, you can cast your eye over it as well.
Thanks again. Daemonic Kangaroo 14:03, 20 January 2007 (UTC)

Re: Article deletion under CSD A7
dear sir,
there was an article under the title Adam myers, a biography. The biography was up for around a day, with at least 4 people editing it. Which to my mind shows a great interest in this person. The article was around a page long, which was just slightly under the amount written about the current england rugby union head coach. The article was deleted by yoursef, because it says it is a non relevant biography. However i question how it is non-relevant if many people have viewed it in one day along with editing it. I beleive in your opinion just becasue you do not know who this person is does not mean it is "non relevant" other people clearly have a reason for reading and editing it and it is therfore a relevant biography. I look forward to it being put back on wikipedia for more people to read and add to the biography. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 212.49.210.37 (talk • contribs) 18:12, February 4, 2007.

Speedy Deletion MC Rai
I'm curious as to how 'big' a musician has to be before the page is not deleted. MC Rai, besides his own album has been included on two compilations (that I know of) by the Nascente label "Beginners Guide to World Music".
More general deletion policy: Half a dozen times now I've looked at WP to find out about a topic - often quite obscure, only to find the article about it has been deleted. Is it possible people are being a bit too keen to delete every stub? Lionfish0 10:49, 14 February 2007 (UTC)

Ashburton Grove and Emirates Stadium proposed merge
There is, I think, a good reason to keep these two articles separate, which is that the former is a postal address, while the latter is a stadium. I live at Ashburton Grove, but I do not live at the stadium!
While it is true that not all streets in Islington have a Wikipedia article about them, in the case of Ashburton Grove I think an exception should be made because it is the home both to a world-class sports stadium, and an apartment building accommodating over a thousand people.
Islington streets such as Pentonville Road, Upper Street, Holloway Road and others all have Wikipedia articles. There are many very small Islington streets - such as Lonsdale Square - which have their own Wikipedia articles. There is therefore every reason for giving Ashburton Grove its own article as well.
If you feel able to remove the "merge" template from the Ashburton Grove article, I think that would be for the best.
If you want to contact me about this you can do so on my talk page - or if you'd prefer, in writing to Flat 40, Ashburton Triangle, Ashburton Grove, London N5 1GB! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Benedict Rodgers (talk • contribs) 14:17, 27 March 2007 (UTC).
Arsenal Ownership
I have added text concerning the club's ownership to the main article and changes in equity stakes to the various directors entries. Can you check you are happy with them. Ashburton Grove and Emirates Stadium proposed merge
I'm afraid I don't have the pleasure of agreeing with you that Ashburton Grove, the address, is not noteworthy.
Over a thousand people live there, including my own household, and there is a 60,000-seater stadium there also. If Lonsdale Square - population 300, max - is in Wikipedia, then Ashburton Grove should be too.
The problem is that residents of Ashburton Grove already feel a little crowded out by their larger and more famous neighbour. If you remove us from Wikipedia, another chance is lost for us to really exist. This is not just a silly point - I stress, as Hegel did, the importance of the recognition of others to one's own self-image.
So really I am taking this seriously.
Perhaps you might agree to a compromise: how about if we start the Ashburton Grove article with a paragraph explaining that the article on the stadium can be reached by clicking on a suitable link?
And by the way I am a committed Gooner, like yourself. But whereas you only go there on weekends to enjoy football, I live there every day - and I can't afford a season ticket! Benedict Rodgers 13:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
