Re: Vandalism to Kelly Knatchbull page

[edit]

Hi there. Recently, I have noticed that you have been having to make changes on this page after a user was vandalising it. Just to let you know, it was not me but some joking fellow pupils of mine. Kelly Knatchbull is a personal friend of mine. She does go to Sevenoaks School, so do I, you can check on the school website via Google. My name is Jonathan Recaldin and she kind of charged me with looking after the page as she knows I am a member of the Wiki community. By the way, she actually finds the joke about her boyfriend, Jamie, quite funny and has requested to keep it in for her amusment. She also finds it quite saddening that her page may be up for deletion and asks if the wiki community could help her on this.

I would be grateful if you could help me on this and please send a message to me on the talk page or to my e-mail - QwentyJ1@hotmail.com.
   Thank you for your time,
                           Jonathane Recaldin.

P.S. Are you a sort of moderator? Is that why you were reverting text on the page in question? --This unsigned comment was made by User:QwentyJ

Wikipedia is not an online blog community. It is a free online community that drives to offer free knowledge to all people. This does not include people's fancies about their boyfriends and/or girlfriends. Furthermore, if it were not I that reverted it, someone else would. Remember that Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and happy editing. -- Damien Vryce
Oh, P.S. Your page is up for deletion now. Try and add only valid articles to wikipedia. Thanks. -- Damien Vryce

Sevenoaks School Australia Rugby & Hockey Tour 2005

[edit]

Yes, there should be some references to prove what happened happened. I am not convinced a school trip is notable, even if it is the other side of the world. Perhaps some other editor might want to list it for deletion, in fact, I am not sure why I didn't. Why don't you add it to Sevenoaks School? Hope this helps, if you want more help please ask. --Richhoncho 17:56, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Sevenoaks School Rugby & Hockey Tour of Australia 2005, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Fair do's. Still trying to find the reference if I can make it in time. --QwentyJ

Andy Craig

[edit]

Oops! Sorry about that! I have no idea how that happened; I'm still checking, since I don't speedy delete things unless I see them as new pages or as improper cross-namespace moves. Else it is certainly possible that I just made a bad mistake. I restored the Andy Craig page to its unvandalised state. Antandrus (talk) 16:17, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
