Re Indian Army Equipment
[edit]Hi there. In reference to edits you recently made to the Equipment of the Indian Army page - The equipment levels are based on currently available information on what's in service. While all sources available indicate that the Indian Army eventually expects to have somewhere between 1600 and 1700 T-90s in service, right now there are only, at most, a little over 600 based on the completed orders from Russia, and the recent start of domestic production. You stated that they eventually plan to have 2200 with 1500 produced locally, but failed to support this with a reliable source. Furthermore this runs contradictory to the information that's available to sources now. This goes for all of the other uncited quantity increases as well. Finally, there was already an entry for the M777 under future procurements as the deal was announced very recently, and there's nothing to indicate that the order has already been fulfilled. Thanks. - Jonathon A H (talk) 13:26, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
