Ghostbusters

[edit]

Hi, I removed your addition of Sony Pictures Animation for Ghostbusters (2016 film) because all the sources I found online states that Sony is planning another film which can be animated after the release of their 2016 female version. So Sony Pictures Animation is definitely not part of 2016 film. If I am mistaken or you have a better source for the addition of Sony Pictures Animation as studio for this 2016 film please add the information again with the source. If you want to talk to me about this matter, you can leave me a message on talk page. Regards--Jockzain (talk) 19:41, 4 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Yes they have completely animated or Live-Action/Animated film in work but that film is not this 2016 female version of Ghostbusters, it is another separate film. So we can not add Sony Pictures Animation for this film.--Jockzain (talk) 11:29, 5 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Misrepresenting sources

[edit]

In this edit, you cited Variety Insight to say that RatPac-Dune and Lord Miller Productions are producing The Lego Ninjago Movie. However, the source does not say this. Please do not misrepresent sources like this. Per this discussion, production companies require proper sourcing to prevent original research. If you have trouble with this, feel free to ask for help at WikiProject Film. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 17:57, 7 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 10:35, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to List of Paramount Pictures films. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. One entry was completely unsourced, and the other was cited to a source that said nothing about Paramount Pictures or the other production companies mentioned in your edit. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:55, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Please stop adding unsourced and poorly-sourced information about production companies. I just revert an edit where you cited a press release. A press release is not a reliable source. A reliable source is one written by a professional journalist in a publication that has a history of fact checking and editorial control. Press releases are promotional material that are generally self-published, and anyone can say anything in a press release. There's no fact checking. Furthermore, per this consensus, production companies should be cited to a reliable secondary source that explicitly states that they are a production company, not to primary sources, such as trailers, posters, press releases, etc. If you have having trouble with this, please seek assistance at WikiProject, the tea house, or perhaps on my talk page, where I can help you. If you continue like this, you are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You seem very keen to make articles say what you believe to be true; however, Wikipedia is based on what reliable sources say, not what we believe to be true. This means that you will sometimes have to avoid adding content to Wikipedia until you can find a sufficiently reliable source – not promotional material or primary sources. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 07:25, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at List of Warner Bros. films. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 21:11, 21 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

Please feel free to communicate with me here. All we want to know is that you will provide sources when making those additions. Thanks. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:56, 5 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to 2018 in film. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 02:30, 25 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Village Roadshow and The 15:17 to Paris

[edit]

First of all, press releases are generally not reliable sources. Second, the press release that you've been adding doesn't say anything about Village Roadshow being a production company; it just says that they will handle distribution "in some territories". Please stop adding poorly-sourced production companies to film articles. See this consensus that production companies should be explicitly named as such in an independent, secondary reliable source. That would preclude posters, trailers, press releases, and other promotional material. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 15:23, 30 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2002 in film, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Scholastic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
