Request reason:

I'm a live human, living in Sydney. No strings attached and no hands up my arse. I can’t speak for the other supposed socks, but I can say that Leobenite and Avicenna are also live humans, who also reside in Sydney. As far as I can tell, Leobenite was the person who did the most work updating the content that was controversial on this page. I also did a fair bit. So it would seem that the EARNEST attempt to improve this page was an Antipodean thing, not a European plot. Re a proxy being used, I don’t know what that is, but as far as I know, I don’t think I’m using one. Re code, that was my first time in talk and my first attempt trying to write code. I didn’t know what I was doing, so I looked at what other people had written and cut and pasted. When it looked OK in preview, I thought that that was how it’s done. I can appreciate that the admins of the MCS page have been on WP for a long time. They/you may not remember just what a steep learning curve WP can be for new editors. As well, not everyone (eg. me) who wants to be a WP editor is technical. So, how do we humans prove we’re not socks? And is there an appeals process if this decision isn’t reversed?QueerWordGirl (talk) 09:26, 17 December 2019 (UTC)QueerWordGirl[reply]
