Speedy deletion of "Pyoung Q Park"
[edit]A page you created, Pyoung Q Park, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how they are important or significant, and thus why they should be included in an encyclopedia. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and the guidelines for biographies in particular.
You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
Thank you. Alanl (talk) 13:54, 21 August 2011 (UTC)
I notice that one of the first articles you created appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.
The page you created about yourself has been or will shortly be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, but if you want to use the content from it, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.
Your article
[edit]Hello and welcome. I see you've added an article to the mainspace. I think it's not quite ready yet. Please read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:GNG#General_notability_guideline, which says "Your article must have received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject."
Here is a sandbox you can use to prepare an article without the risk of it being deleted:
When it's ready, you can add it to the mainspace.

Contested deletion
[edit]This article should not be speedy deleted as being about a person, animal, organization or web content but which fails to assert the importance of its subject, because... I am creating this page as part of my school assignment.
