[edit]Hi, QsCarolyn! You have some understanding of MLA style, but there are some details you need to attend to. Remember that "university" and "press" are abbreviated; e.g. Harvard UP, U of Michigan P, Cambridge UP. Do not write titles in all capital letters, even if they appear that way on the page -- always use mixed case letters -- otherwise, it looks like you are yelling at us! :-) In the first citation of your bibliography, there's something confusing about the page numbers. MLA requires that you list the page range for an article, rather than the page where it starts followed by the number of pages. For example: pp. 198-204. Also, regarding page numbers, you should write them like this: 210-15, not this: 210-215. See the examples on this sample Works Cited page: https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/12/ When you have a work by more than two authors, the second/third/etc. authors are listed firstname lastname. For example, write "Stein, Tobie, and Jessica Bathurst" (not "Stein, Tobie, and Bathurst, Jessica") -- see "Book with More Than One Author" at https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/747/06/ Finally: if you found any of these sources through an online database, you need to include that info in the citation. For example, if you found a journal article in EBSCO or Proquest or JSTOR, you need to include the name of that database; the DOI, stable URL (if available), or general URL for the company/database owner, and the date you accessed the electronic source.
