Episode pages

[edit]

Would you like to help on making HTF episodes articles just like you did with the first ones ? And you don't have to put any images in articles, I'll do it myself. With two editors making these, it will take much less time to have all of 'em done. We need to have pages for the internet shorts, the TV episodes and the irregular episodes. Do you accept to help ?

Fair use rationale for Image:House Warming.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:House Warming.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. WebHamster 10:57, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Give Me Time

[edit]

Melesse, i've put this image (Image:Water You Wading For.jpg) on Wikipedia because i am crating the article at this time, i need an hour or two to get it done, all i require from you is a little patience and to remove that deletion notice, i can't use it for my article if you delete it! Have you noticed, one by one, the episodes are getting seperate pages, i'm getting them done chronologically, so, could you please not delete it? And just to note, it's only been on for around 10 mintues!
Pyro Python (talk) 18:54, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well I see it's not orphaned now, so there's no need for the tag anymore, but you should probably make the article before adding the image. Melesse (talk) 20:39, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Being Bold

[edit]

I saw what LtPowers did to all those pages about the HTF characters, and this is here if he complains about the change i am going to make: I am reverting them back! You may not consider what you did as vandalism, and you may have done it out of good will, but that was all good information, and i am not letting it go without a fight!
Pyro Python (talk) 16:33, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There was a clear consensus in the AfD discussion. I'm sorry you disagree, but that's the way things go sometimes. Powers T 16:50, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
References would be a good start. You can add them to the individual character sections in List of Happy Tree Friends characters. However, please read Wikipedia:Writing about fiction, noting that the extensive plot details that were previously there are not suitable for Wikipedia. Also please read Wikipedia:Reliable sources, which details what kind of references will be needed. Powers T 16:56, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Accuracy is not the primary concern. There exist exabytes upon exabytes of data in the world that is not suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, no matter how accurate it is. For example, the fact that I had cereal for breakfast this morning is 100% accurate, but it's not relevant to Wikipedia. Likewise, detailed plot information for characters in a television cartoon is not relevant to Wikipedia, unless that information has been covered extensively in third-party sources. Very few modern works of fiction meet that threshold. Powers T 17:09, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I should also note that there are other wikis on which detailed plot information would be welcome; Wikipedia just isn't one of them. Powers T 17:10, 29 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know what that change was for and it was just stupid for that to happen and It's supicious why Ltpowers wants to delete the pages and merge it theres not even information about other characters in the list of characters right now but cuddles. So to me I think it's just plain vandalism Ltpowers why are you tagging the characters pages, leave me a note on my user page :Note I am on a break so I may not reply on time The luigi kart assasions 17:40 29 January 2008 (UTC)

Now there's information on characters

[edit]

I was checking the list of HTF characters when all of a sudden there was information. It turns out N.flen did this I thank him for it. But i'm still mad what Ltpowers did and I will not forget it ever. You can talk to N.flen about it if you want but I still think we should put the articles back up or it's ok. The luigi kart assasions 18:32, 31 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For the last time, the action I took was not unilateral. You can see right on the AfD discussion that there was a clear consensus that the articles should be merged. Stop blaming me for it. Powers T 03:23, 2 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wheelin' And Dealin'.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Wheelin' And Dealin'.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 03:15, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Offering Help

[edit]

I understand that it was you who created the happy tree friends page (Correct me if I'm mistaken).

Allow me to let you know that I am doing everything possible to keep the articles maintained the best way I can. I've fixed and removed a lot of vandalism and spam with unwanted infomation *Mostly from the character Page with Flaky*.

Please understand I am on your side and I wish to be as close as partners with you in the process in this page (most likely up to a point to your future updates). I take vandalism seriously and I will fix anything that does not fit into place (^_^).

So in any case this was just a breif comment by another HTF fan willing to help. You will be seeing a great input from me. ThankYou. Tedmund (talk) 04:29, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wondering if you could help

[edit]

Hi,

I've noticed that you've created quite a bit of articles on the early Happy Tree Friends episodes. As you may know, I've recently begun creating articles myself. I just received a message, however, that my article on Class Act has been nominated for AfD deletion. I received some messages from another person about a week ago, warning me that something like this may happen so I started adding production notes and cultural reference to some articles. I was just curious, do you have any tips for writing episode articles so that they aren't subject to AfD deletion. Looking at your talk page, I see you've had some run-ins with AfDs, but apparently none have been in relation to your episode pages. Any help you could offer would be much appreciated! (Gala0008 (talk) 22:51, 11 May 2008 (UTC))[reply]

I forgot I was watching this page. Anyway I'm pretty sure your allowed to edit it since wikipedia is a free-edit sorce. But you may need to ask Python for his perment HTF section page instead. The one on wikipedia is free to edit. No vandalism though... Tedmund (talk) 17:12, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Spin Fun Knowin' Ya, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
