Help offered
[edit]Hi,
I have a somewhat related BS degree and a heap of wikipedia experience. Although I don't have time to work on the substance of this article, I would be glad to help mentor, if needed, with respect to how Wikipedia works. Like anywhere, you have to write in your own words, but everything you say has to pass WP:Verification by citing what wikipedia defines as a 'reliable source'. The citation templates make the formatting pretty easy. Good luck, if you have Wikipedia how to questions, fire away. No need to ping me or post on my talk page. Just add a comment on your own talk page below this one and I will see it, since for the time being I will keep you on my WP:Watchlist. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 12:31, 31 October 2016 (UTC)
Hello again, sorry but I reverted your addition to the NFMA. The part you added to the lead needs Help:Citation to what what wikipedia defines as a 'reliable source'. I talked about this in my prior comment. The long timeline section isn't really the history of the NFMA; rather, it is the history of federal involvement with public land management. Those are different, and we have articles where that material would be a good addition. NewsAndEventsGuy (talk) 20:35, 4 December 2016 (UTC)
Reference errors on 5 December
[edit]Hello, I'm ReferenceBot. I have automatically detected that an edit performed by you may have introduced errors in referencing. It is as follows:
- On the National Forest Management Act of 1976 page, your edit caused a URL error (help). (Fix | Ask for help)
Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, ReferenceBot (talk) 00:27, 6 December 2016 (UTC)
