Blocked as a sockpuppet

[edit]
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively as a sockpuppet of User:Halud Foressa per the evidence presented at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Halud Foressa. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

But I wanted only to provide real info, no disruption was my aim. Years more over years, it has been that some wrong infos are written in some articles. I wanted to develop those by providing such infos, that were not written. Pundarikaksha Purakayasta (talk) 16:23, 18 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
YOU, the person behind the keyboard, are the one that is blocked from editing. Obviously, that can't really be enforced with just software, it's part of the Wikipedia policies and guidelines that you agree to follow when you edit. What you're doing is called block evasion (although you should know that by know). Each time your create a new account, you're telling every other editor that they are wrong, you are right and that you don't care about anyone else. That's not acceptable here - Wikipedia is a collaborative environment and editors have to respect each other and the policies and guidelines that keep us all moving in the same direction. WP:BLOCKREVERT allows edits from sock accounts (like this one) to be reverted on sight. You've demonstrated, and continue to demonstrate, that you don't care about the standards of Wikipedia (using good reliable sources, no original research, using honest and accurate edit summaries, etc). It's why you've been blocked and have continued to be blocked again and again. Just stop.
At this point, the only hope you've probably got to returning to editing is the Standard Offer. At a minimum, that requires six months of no editing at all. Nothing. No new accounts, no IP editing. Nothing. It's not a guarantee as you then need to convince an admin, on your original account, that you understand the problems you've caused and how you will make sure they don't happen again. It's not an easy thing to do and it's never granted automatically. Contiuing to create new accounts or editing as an IP editor will just continue this cycle of create an account, edit, get blocked, get reverted. That wastes your time and every other editor's time as well, so not ideal. Think about this. Ravensfire (talk) 12:54, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
