State of Fear
[edit]Hi there. When you said "primary source", do you mean the book itself? Because if Yes, then it is no good, it is Crichton saying so, and the previous writing must be kept. If the answer is No, then please provide the source. Otherwise, some of the regular editors (not me) will reverse your edit. Also, with controversial articles be aware of WP:3RR, read it. Welcome to Wiki.--Mariordo (talk) 03:51, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
It is important to note that the sources his supply are disputed in some circles in the overview (it is misleading just to say "real life examples" only).... while your rewrite is more readable then mine it does miss that minor detail that is critical --Aryeh M. - Since you have been a regular for a while, with good NPOV edits, I would like to invite you to participate in the discussion in the Talk page, regarding my latest edits and an attempt to end the edit war, in order to move on and do more constructive edits to improve the article.--Mariordo (talk) 04:06, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Hi
[edit]USEYOURNAME | Greetings and Welcome! I noticed that your username shows up red when you post an edit -- in case you were wondering why, this is because your userpage is devoid of content. If you were to place anything at all on your userpage (text, photographs, etc.), your username would then appear blue by default. By convention, most serious contributing editors place information about themselves on their userpages, and as a result, editors whose usernames are still red may appear to other editors as lacking a serious motivation in both editing Wikipedia articles as well as joining the Wikipedia community at large. I therefore recommend that you place something on your userpage, such as information relating to your city of residence and occupation -- basically anything that will allow another editor to identify with you and peer into your mind a bit. You can check out other editors' userpages to get an idea of what is normally included (find them easiest by checking the history tab on randomly chosen yet substantial articles), and even copy/paste from other editors' userpages (modifying the information to reflect your own, of course). Homeopathy
[edit]Hi. I've noticed that many of your edits to the homeopathy page are being reverted for various reasons. Please don't see this as an attack. In future in may be better to start a discussion about any edits you wish to make on the talk page (except for formatting fixes, typos, etc) and then we can discuss your suggestions or develop them further for inclusion. Also, as you will see on the talk page, homeopathy and related articles are subject to some special sanctions you should be aware of. All the best. Verbal chat 07:53, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to ExxonMobil appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. Badger Drink (talk) 19:42, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you. I reviewed a core policy about "Original Research" and "Synthesis". From what I can tell, this seems to be a major problem with respect to the ExxonMobil page. I will attempt to help clean this up. Punctilius (talk) 00:10, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
Agreement on issues

(If your on google IM or some other IM that has a FreeBSD/Linux client let me know) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aryeh M. Friedman (talk • contribs) 02:28, 1 September 2008 (UTC)
