Articles for Deletion
[edit]Please do not spam Articles for Deletion with superfluous nominations. This is not constructive to Wikipedia and is considered disrupting Wikipedia to prove a point. If you continue, you may be blocked. ✎ Wizardry Dragon (Talk to Me) (Support Neutrality on Wikipedia) 19:08, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Superfluous? Please try to assume good faith. I genuinely believe that those articles should be deleted. Puerto De La Cruz 19:12, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
- Since you seem very familiar with the AfD proccess, perhaps you could tell us where this experience came from? If you have a more regular account you really should use that one for controversial decisions. It appears that this account is being used only for deletion nominations. HighInBC (Need help? Puerto De La Cruz (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
I am not a vandal, and have never engaged in vandalism of any sort. Please unblock me, and please have someone take a look at Nancy Pelosi, as I was trying to revert vandalism on that page when I discovered that I had been blocked for vandalism, which I have not committed at any point.
Decline reason:
Mass AfDing is vandalism -- Betacommand (talk • contribs • Bot) 18:39, 14 November 2006 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Your account or IP address has been blocked from editing.
You were blocked by Alkivar for the following reason (see our blocking policy): vandal sockpuppet
Your IP address is 128.163.112.121.
Just noticed you blocked this user indefinitely as a "vandal sockpuppet." I don't think anyone is disputing he's a sock, but nobody has yet shown that he's an illegitimate one or has committed vandalism. I also question whether you should have blocked him, since you'd already commented on the AfDs he listed and seem to have a personal involvement in the issue -- and since it doesn't appear that you made any effort to communicate with him prior to issuing the ban. Perhaps you're privy to some information which I am not. Shimeru 01:03, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
- here is proof he's a vandal... he's had 1 image upload: [1] this image you will note was linked from BJAODN. From an article called House Made out of Vegetables (afd here) If your an admin you can see [2] that he was the original creator of this article. This is just one proof he's created nonsense articles. Unfortunately there is no simple way to find articles he created that were deleted already, that was the only one I've been able to find as of right now... I'm sure there are more. The file File:Ssss MEETinLA8404ID82423.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused with no apparent encyclopedic use, missing context / description
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. mattbr 11:39, 30 November 2024 (UTC)
