Three Sheets
[edit]Your edits here are being reverted because, although it is good quality writing, it's not encyclopedic in tone. Phrases like "the show is as entertaining as it is educational" and "this show is the ultimate drinking show" are written in a promotional style, and don't meet wikipedia's WP:NPOV. In addition, your writing doesn't provide any references, so it's disallowed as original research. If you'll read up on the wikipedia guidelines above, I'm sure you can tailor the edits to properly meet the standards. Thanks! Snowfire51 (talk) 18:25, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
- Re your message: Sorry about that. It's just very unusual to find a relatively new editor add so much well written text without it being copied from somewhere. My apologies about assuming the worse. I do tend to agree with Snowfire51 that some of the text might not be of the correct style for here. Articles here tend to be of a more formal tone. For example, your pun, while funny, might not work so well. I am glad that you expanded the article. It needed some expansion. I like the show, too. Needs more Pleepleus. =) -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 23:15, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Delirium Tremens (band)
[edit]A tag has been placed on Delirium Tremens (band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Morbidthoughts (talk) 05:58, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
