The Three Graces
[edit]Hello. I see that no one has welcomed you to Wikipedia. Welcome. I hear great things about the Teahouse as a place to answer questions. I recently undid the changes you made to The Three Graces because the material was copied from this site. Material added to Wikipedia generally must be original material written for this encyclopedia. It is a violation of copyright to move someone else's material here. You may find it helpful to read Wikipedia:Copyright violations for guidance. I hope this doesn't dissuade you from continuing to contribute to Wikipedia. This is not my area of expertise, but I'd be happy to help you if you'd like to work on other things. SchreiberBike talk 00:35, 1 January 2015 (UTC)
I am disappointed that you chose to remove my contribution without contacting me first. It is not a violation to use someone else's material if that someone else is you. I wrote the book and the website from which I added material due to the lack of substance and accuracy on the current wiki page. Removing another editors contributions are typically discouraged and in the future, I would recommend you contact the editor prior to removing their contribution for clarification. Please add back my prior edits.
