requested moves
[edit]I moved Flower Pot Men and The New Avengers as you requested. Both have layers of double redirects (in the FPM case, I think I saw a triple in there) that you should go through and fix; I'm sure I won't get them all. If the target is just a redirect, you can also make these changes before requesting the move to minimize the resulting work. Opabinia regalis 03:16, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
- Addendum - think I changed them all. (delayed due to database freeze) Opabinia regalis 03:30, 29 November 2006 (UTC)
Re: Becky and Barnaby Bear
[edit]Please do not go ahead and move something without you know the full facts behind the original naming of the article. The article was named that way because there has been a longstanding dispute over the name of the show, whether it is Becky and Barnaby Bear, or quite simply, Barnaby Bear. The reason (TV Series) was added to the end is firstly, that there is a series of books with the same name, and secondly, that the article, if it is ever moved to Barnaby Bear, will counteract with at least 4 other Barnaby Bears in other countries and in different formats. The naming convention was resolved by discussion and that was what we chose. I will move it back, and if you wish, you may also discuss with us your reasons for moving the article in the first place. Thank you. Thor Malmjursson 13:31, 1 December 2006 (UTC)
You are spreading computer viruses.
[edit]You attached this link Muttley tribute site to the Muttley article. This site contains computer viruses that extort money to remove them. Please explain yourself.--Lance talk 19:36, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
