Buxton Real Estate Deletion
Why delete this and not other similar company descriptions?
eg Connells,
These, among others, are listed under the Category:Real estate companies. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Real Estate Australia (talk • contribs) 12:38, 12 March 2007 (UTC).
- Mainly because that's the one I came across being created by a user that was transparently plugging one company all over the place. Pseudomonas 12:23, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
Reverted sd request
Please do not add unhelpful and non-constructive information to Wikipedia, as you did to Awesomenocity. Your edits could be considered vandalism, and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Xdamrtalk 00:52, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'm not sure why you reverted this. It still looks like a fair call to me - I can see you might disagree with me but labelling it vandalism is a little strong, no? Pseudomonas 00:57, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- You have my humblest apologies; there was absolutely nothing wrong with your edit, in fact it was eminently the right thing to do with that page. I'm not sure how I came to revert you—possibly a bug with Vandalproof, possibly my own carelessness—either way I have reverted the page back, speedy deletion request reinstated.
- Best wishes, Xdamrtalk 01:06, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, thanks. No hard feelings :) Pseudomonas 01:08, 15 March 2007 (UTC)
PKR
Ummm....all I did was looked at Party Poker wiki page, to give me ideas how to write it. Maybe you should revert the Part Poker wiki page too! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 1066seagull (talk • contribs)
- OK: you changed "online poker site" to "online revolutionary poker site", which is suspicious. You added stuff about it being "one-in-a-kind" which sounds pretty WP:POV. You changed the bit that it claimed to offer "an immersive, engaging and realistic poker experience" to actually saying that it did offer "an experience to poker players and video gamers alike a realistic engaging poker experience not currently used on any other poker". Do you see why Wikipedia can't be making these claims on behalf of the site without extraordinary support? Pseudomonas 15:30, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
I don't know what you have against him, but leave his talk page alone please. If you do have a valid reason, then please explain. Regards, Tuxide 03:49, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- As I understand it, another user is shoving a load of userboxes, some of them contentious, onto his talkpage; I didn't think that was appropriate. I apologise if I've got the wrong end of the stick here. Pseudomonas 03:52, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Ah, well if 76.185.201.65 is indeed his ip address then I'll probably just revert User talk:67.174.86.183 to his last edit and move it to User talk:76.185.201.65. I'm not too sure if I really like the guy because he never makes any article space edits, but the warnings he's received in the past are funny as hell :-) Regards, Tuxide 04:01, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah, I don't have a problem with people putting boxes saying they like penises on their own pages, but it rings alarm bells when it looks like they're putting them on other people's pages... Pseudomonas 04:04, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
AWB Plugin
Hi. I don't know if you still use your AWB plugin or not, but I'm just letting you know that an additional member has been added to the IAWBPlugin interface. You don't have to support the new member, but you'll have to recompile against the latest WikiFunctions.dll for it to continue to work. --kingboyk 19:31, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
