This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Diane Chenery-Wickens, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1962401/Missing-make-up-artist-Diane-Chenery-Wickens'-husband-arrested.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:08, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- It had almost no content -- where did this happen? why is she notable per WP:BIO? There are hundreds of crime victims, and even murder victims, every day -- they don't all get articles. Feel free to repost an article with more content. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:17, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- It's your responsibility as the article author to add sources. It's not enough to tell people that "they can Google it" -- Wikipedia is supposed to be something other than a link to Google. Also, many people who can be Googled as the subjects of news stories aren't notable for encyclopedia purposes -- see WP:BLP1E. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:24, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- No, I didn't. Now that you've added the source, I can check it. Among other things, it indicates that Ms. Chenery-Wickens is notable as an Emmy winner and BAFTA nominee, whatever the manner of her death. If you had taken ane extra 45 seconds or so to add that information, and your source, to the first draft, we wouldn't be having this problem. Now I'm going to do the work on the article that you should have done. NawlinWiki (talk) 21:28, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Your recent edits
[edit]Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 21:20, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
