Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Parkash Singh Badal, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chief Minister of Punjab (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Telugu Desam Party may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Wikilinking

Hi, and thanks for your work on the English Wikipedia.

I noticed an article you worked on. Just a short note to point out that we don’t normally link:

  • dates
  • years
  • commonly known geographical terms (including well-known country-names), and
  • common terms you’d look up in a dictionary (unless significantly technical).

(This even applies for infoboxes.)

Thanks and my best wishes.

The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar
If memory serves me right, I believe it was my edit of 2014 ICC World Twenty20 at 07:14, 24 March 2014 that you thanked me for at the time I made it, which is the first time somebody has thanked me for amending one of their own edits (though one person had previously thanked me for reverting them), which I greatly appreciated. I meant to thank you at the time, but somehow got distracted, so I'm only belatedly getting around to doing so now. Thanks very much, Prateek Malviya, it was most kind of you :)

(PS: I hope it's OK to call you Prateek Malviya, as I'm a bit confused about Indian names, so I don't know whether I should be calling you Prateek, or Malviya, or something else. If I've made a mistake in etiquette, please forgive my ignorance and accept my apologies.) Tlhslobus (talk) 07:01, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

The edit mentioned above is here (the Barnstar doesn't seem to accept that kind of link inside it). Tlhslobus (talk) 07:23, 28 March 2014 (UTC)

In the Template:West Bengal 2009 election summary your correction merely disturbed the table pattern without contributing in any positive manner and so was reverted. - Chandan Guha (talk) 12:04, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of B N S D Shiksha Niketan

The article B N S D Shiksha Niketan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Secondary school, unreferenced, fails to meet WP:GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:17, 21 October 2016 (UTC)
