Let's discuss revert to employee stock options

Prolog, what's the reason for your revert to my addition of an external link on employee stock options? (The edit was performed anonymously as the IP address 66.92.85.197) I understand that external links should be carefully controlled, but we're a popular and valid site on stock options and other equity compensation, so I think the addition is warranted. I agree although it is intended to centre around the Cinema of Finland but not to dimish the elements of it! This is a happy medium I think. If you could add the template to as many of the film pages and actor/director articles from Finalnd as possible that would be a great start -some time I'll get back to working on Finland again. I am on Argentina at present . Good, I beleive Luigi Pistilli was a major Italian actor I know he starred in a few of the Spaghetti Westerns playing Tuco's religious brother in GBU -but his article is really awful! My RfA

Thank you for your comments on my my recent RfA in which I withdrew because the oppose votes were almost equalling the supporters. I then decided to leave my account (Tellyaddict) and start fresh under a new username, however I quickly decided to reconsider after another user persuaded me not to leave the account - I am now glad I did reconsider because leaving that account and creating a new one was too hasty so I've decided to improve rather than starting again! I hope we can remain civil and that there were no negative feelings caused. Again, thanks for your support even though you opposed and I withdrew it, your vote is much appreciated! Encyclopaedia Metallum is not only a poor source, it merely duplicates discography info which can be found on official websites. Now, I'm trying to get the Metal Project off the ground a bit since as far as I've seen it's done little much. Apart from a ton of mediocre stubs, there is hardly any GAs no nothing. I've started by introducing an assessment scheme so we can rate the Project articles which'll tell us where we're at, and then we can take things from there. A major problem I've noticed is there seems to be more discussion about which genre is whatever band, while content improvement is minimal (which is being overly fair) - for example, people seem more concerned about the external links than raising content beyond stub level. I'll be honest, I'm not exactly the greatest of Wikipedians and cannot boast much beyond one FA (Christ Illusion), but I'd love to make the Project work and see how far it can go. Once the assessment side of things is finished, I'm hoping the Project can be open to other ideas - eg. Project peer review etc. I want to see also if I can get some articles properly cited and so on too. So, are you aboard? LuciferMorgan 21:59, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

CInema templates are up for deletion

Unbelievably a nasty user has put all of the cinema templates up for deletion. I beelive they serve a great purpose for establishing a better understanding and connection between articles. But in totla haste he has gone ahead and proposed the lot. If my hard work is deleted I swear I am leaving wikipedia for good. I am willing to limit the use of the American template but not the others.

WRC seasons

Thank you for the comment. Actually I tried to not change the format of the layout for 1981, but merely changed the header to fit it into the format of the rest of the page (table width and text size). A question of inclusion

Hi, I am planning to formulate this for a more general discussion, but it's best to hear some opinions first. We are compiling film lists by country, and some editors including Blofeld copy whole dumps from imdb and try to enter them all in the lists, which become like telephone catalogues in this way. Notability-wise it could be that every film that has ever been screened is acceptable. For having useful lists, however, this is very questionable IMO. Should we make lists for "most notable films" only, or should we get listed every last film ever screened? Hoverfish Talk 23:56, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Actually they don't. The only example of this is the List of East German films where somebody had compiled a scruffy list from imdb that I tried to quickly cleanup by putting them into the formal tables!!! I certainly don't want every unotable film in the lists!!! My apologies, Blofeld, in my load of tasks I didn't have time to sleuth deep enough into it and I put the blame on you. Lesson taken. Prolog, yes, the bold titles is the next issue. I compiled the French with bold feeling rather bad about it, but it would take me only a minute to remove it with the Replace tool of my off-line editor. What we need is consensus. I know some like titles bold and some can't stand it. I dislike it too. I think bold should be used very sparingly. I unbolded the Australian lists with Pete's agreement and it looks much lighter now. Right now I still want to have the red link issue clear and next comes this, and not only for the country lists. If you would like to take the initiative of introducing the issue in the List management department, it would take some load off of me. Hoverfish Talk 15:12, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

Finland articles

I have returned to editing Finnish articles at present. You'll be proud of me - I have unstubbed the three line articles Aaro Hellaakoski and Martii Haavio to good ones and have started a number of Aaros's peoms creating the categories Finnish poetry and Finnish poems. I have also started the List of Finnish poets and stubbed the village Temmes. PLease can you translate the brief info from Finnish wikipedia. I haven't seen most of them but I love Spaghetti westerns immensely though!! Many of those films by those directors though don't have the film posters and there are a few missing films.-i'll help out with these some time. Also I keep coming across specialist Spaghetti western sites which have all the galleries of the actors in all the westerns. I aim to go trhough them some time and add them even the smaller figures which have appeared in countless films and are familiar - like I did to the actors of the Good the Bad and the Ugly. Kaczynski content

Hi, in this edit you restored some redundant content I had removed.

This content is almost exactly the same as the previous section. That section ends, leading into this one, titled "Arrest and court proceedings"; oddly enough, I think the section should therefore deal with the arrest and court proceedings. Therefore, the repeated content should be removed (it looks really stupid if you're reading through the article sequentially, as I was), and the section can start with the arrest.

If you feel the paragraph doesn't make sense without it, then please either add only the necessary context, or (better) move the content concerning David to the previous section, or (also fine) move the duplicated content from the previous section down into this one. The content which I had removed, and which you restored, isn't as good as the content which it repeats, because the former uses subjective language and ignores details which the latter examines.
