Meridian Systems and Proliance

[edit]

Hi, this notice is to let you know that articles you created, Meridian Systems and Proliance, have been tagged for deletion as advertisements for a company or product. Wikipedia should not be used to promote or advertise products, companies, or services, and all content submitted to Wikipedia should be content produced under a free license (for example, not marketing copy), should be written in a neutral point of view (not promotional), and verifiable by third parties. Companies and products should conform to notability guidelines (WP:CORP and WP:SOFTWARE) before being submitted for Wikipedia. Please also refer to Wikipedia's conflict of interest policies. Thank you, Renesis (talk) 05:39, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Does it seem to you that the things wrote there are promotional? Do you see any praise or something similar? How Basecamp and other thing got there? Why don't try to ban them too? It is not "verifiable by third parties" or other rule? User:Gheorghiu alex

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Meridian corporate logo.gif. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Meridian systems

[edit]

Hi, I noticed that you posted a new article at "Meridian systems" that was substantially the same as a previous article you created. Your contributions are appreciated, and I know that the guidelines can be difficult to understand at times, but there are many resources to help you out. As I said before, there is a lot of information at Wikipedia:Spam and Wikipedia:Conflict of interest about listing information about products or services. Also, WP:CORP provides information about notability requirements for corporations. Please take the time to understand these guidelines, as they will help you in knowing what to contribute and what to leave out. As always, you may contact me or any other editors for specific questions about guidelines, although I regret that I do not have the time to do a large amount of general research regarding notability of specific products. -- Renesis (talk) 21:49, 29 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
