Sorry, this is my first Wikipedia attempt and it may be slightly maladroit (difficult for a professional academic to admit, of course) or have violated some local taboos. Medix produced some valuable original research material - see the BMJ and other references and link to publicly available reports. Medix was also one of the first internet market research firms and this mode of research has now become ubiquitous. I also expected a few minutes grace after saving before somebody (or some software?) jumped on the entry - isn't the Internet wonderful?
- "developed by Professor Mike Smith"... that would be you, yes? In which case, see conflict of interest. More helpfully, perhaps, see notability - you need to verify using third-party sources that subject is important enough for an entry. (The sources need to cover Medix; publications by Medix don't help here.) See also verifiability and reliable sources. Rd232 talk 14:55, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
