course page and such

Hi! I gather from the application that you posted that you're working with the Wikipedia Education Program and already have a Campus Ambassador (who is it?). If so, your Regional Ambassador (the volunteer who coordinates bringing onboard new classes in your region) should have been in contact with you about how to get started. I'll go ahead an assign you the course instructor right so that you can get started building your course page. (In answer to your question, you didn't do anything wrong, and it often takes a few days before someone evaluates a new permissions request on the education noticeboard.)

You'll now be able to set up a course page by following the instructions linked above. Good luck, and if you have any questions related to setting up the course page, please let me know.--Sage Ross (WMF) (talk) 18:00, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

Just a quick followup. I've left some comments about your course plan at your post to the education noticeboard. Note, in particular, that essays (which advance a particular argument or an original comparison, or otherwise present a personal viewpoint) are not appropriate content for Wikipedia.--Sage Ross (WMF) (talk) 18:40, 31 January 2013 (UTC)
