I undid your edit to Vertically transmitted infection as it was unreferenced. You can undo my removal in the wp:page history. But, you need to add references before saving. Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources (RS). Hmm, what you need to add is an inline footnote. See Help:Footnotes. The following is some more info on editing. I hope it is not too overwhelming!
You also may find there are some specific rules in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, in particular, that apply to certain situations
