Hello, PrincessPersnickety,
I just wanted to thank you for your page patrolling. Pages like orphaned talk pages are often a challenge to come across and they are a frequent target for some IP editors because while they can't create regular article pages, anyone can create a talk page. So some editors even start draft articles article talk pages because they are not aware of Draft space.
