Let's hope you can make useful contributions
[edit]I can understand your frustrations because of Covid. However, if you continue to make contributions like "this first one". you will have your account blocked for, amongst other things, being WP:NOTHERE. Michael D. Turnbull (talk) 16:59, 6 October 2020 (UTC)
- I concur on both counts. I'm probably violating a Wikipedia rule or three by even continuing this "not here" topic, but I will say that at least in most medium sized and larger cities in the United States, there are professional counselors available. In larger cities, there are charities that can refer you to counselors who will charge based on your ability to pay. It's best to stop here, I don't want to get myself - or you if you reply - into any more trouble for violating Wikipedia's rules. After all, we are here to build an encyclopedia, not socialize or commiserate over the current state of the planet. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 17:12, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Luciano Pavarotti, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Please stop adding "death controversies" categories to articles --such as this one -- where the death was *not* controversial. ZimZalaBim talk 19:43, 7 November 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Death controversies
[edit]A tag has been placed on Category:Death controversies requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at 2020 Cannes Film Festival, you may be blocked from editing. Your edit summary reveals your desire to add this category reflects your personal opinion, not that there is a citation that supports it was a controversial year for Cannes ZimZalaBim talk 17:28, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
- Please stop editing in my sandbox, and don't use edit summaries like this. Please see this discussion about the category you keep adding. If you think it should go on the Cannes article, please can you at least take part in that discussion? Thanks. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 17:47, 25 November 2020 (UTC)
- @Pricegeorge212: Wikipedia is not therapy, but we all had a bad year. I can't speak for others, but off-Wiki/in-real-life I've had to "bite my tongue" out of politeness way more than once this very bad [those are the polite words for what I am really thinking] year. I just have to remember to be thankful that I'm still around to

Speedy deletion nomination of Myk Friedman
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Myk Friedman, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Setreis (talk) 13:22, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
