Username concern
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. —C.Fred (talk) 23:13, 3 June 2015 (UTC)

Local/single-chapter fraternities typically don't pass the notability test
[edit]Greetings! I see you've already created a draft of an article. Unfortunately, it looks like Lambda Sigma Phi does not meet the criteria for notable organizations, so the article would be subject to deletion if it were created. As a rule of thumb, single-chapter fraternities and individual chapters of national fraternities are not notable; a fraternity needs substantial coverage in reliable sources beyond just local newspapers to be notable. It also needs to be substantial coverage: a passing mention in USA Today would not suffice; a major portion of an article would. —C.Fred (talk) 18:46, 9 July 2015 (UTC)
Dear Fred, I would like you to reconsider your ban on my article as I have provided proof of two legitimate articles backing Lambda Sigma Phi as an established fraternity at the University of Alabama. I understand that we only have one chapter but that should not constitute a block on an informative page on an established organization. Thank you. Userpage policy
[edit]Hi PreppyPeach1336. Please note that the current version of your userpage appears to violate Wikipedia's userpage policy, more specifically User pages that look like articles. If this is a draft of an article you are working on, then it is better to do in the draft namespace to avoid your userpage being deleted per WP:U5. You can create a userspace draft by following the instructions at WP:DRAFTS#Creating and editing drafts and then copy-and-pasting the content from your current userpage into the draft. You may also work on drafts in your user sandbox if you like or via the Articles for Creation. If you have any questions about any of this, feel free to ask here or at WP:Teahouse. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:13, 9 December 2015 (UTC)
