Rejected page

Hi, you just rejected my draft on Dimitris Zissis, on the basis that it does not meet the notability criteria. Dimitris Zissis meets academic criteria, "Criteria 1. The person's research has had a significant impact in their scholarly discipline, broadly construed, as demonstrated by independent reliable sources". He is specifically mentioned in reference 3 (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/03088839.2020.1788731), on page 584 "Authors shape a research field with their publications. Table 5 presents the most impactful authors in the big data and AI in research the maritime domain. Dimitrios Zissis, Luca Cazzanti and Leonardo M. Millefiori are the top three authors". The Journal of Maritime Policy & Management, is one of the most esteemed journals and the flagship journal of international shipping and port research published by Taylor & Francis. This publication is peer reviewed and is one of the most credible and reliable sources. Similarly several references have been added there to point to these over a number of discussions with other editors. Is this not ok for criteria 1? or do I need to describe in another way in the article? Why was it rejected? 2A02:1388:2085:4E24:5C01:472E:E32B:3D13 (talk) 05:47, 28 December 2023 (UTC)

Armante' Marshall article rejection

Greetings, I am reaching out in regards to the rejected article on Armante' Marshall. What else is needed to make this article reliable. Would you like sources for his High School career? Outside of that, every phase of the article from Mr. Marshall's playing career at Stetson and USF, and his Coaching career has cited articles directly from the sites of those Universities, along with the titles of the articles cited. I am an Associate Athletic Director for a University in which we almost hired Coach Marshall this past winter. I am very confident that he fits the bill for a Wikipedia page as he is one of the most talked about and respected young soccer coaches in the country. I firmly believe he will be another Head Coach from George Keifers coaching tree to become a head Coach and join the likes of Ryan Anatol (Stony Brook Head Coach), Bryheem Hancock (UTRGV Head Coach), Bobby Muss (Wake Forest Head Coach), Bo Oshonyi (Dartmouth Head Coach) and Chris Gbandi (UCONN Head Coach) in the next 2-3 years.

Please let me know what else needs to be done in order to see approval in this regard. Mandragon7891 (talk) 14:38, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

Declining of Casilda Benegas Gallego

Hey PR. You declined my AfC submission for CBG on the grounds (as per the message left on my talk page when the submission was declined) that she lacked in-depth coverage from reliable sources that show that she is notable as a biographical article. I assumed that she had in-depth coverage when I submitted as she had 7 news articles spanning multiple birthdays of hers, all from publications with wikipedia articles that make it seem as though at least a large proportion are potential good RS for topics that may get more coverage in non-English speaking countries, and none of the sources I used are listed with any warning under Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Perennial sources. What exactly is the issue? EytanMelech (talk) 21:40, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

Question from Praasshant (18:23, 2 January 2024)

Hello I would like to create my page covering my bio. --Praasshant (talk) 18:23, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Hello Praasshant, and welcome to Wikipedia! Autobiographies are generally strongly discouraged on Wikipedia per WP:AUTOBIO; it is an example of conflict of interest editing. 141Pr {contribs} 18:26, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
