Has made incorrect assumptions about a certain article

I would certainly appreciate my mistake being more clearly pointed out, even anonymously. I don't care about the accuser, nor do I really mind being accused, I simply care about learning from my mistakes. Pphaneuf (talk) 05:56, 18 July 2008 (UTC)

Some quick research seems to point to this article being Google Web Server (it looked like this at the time), where I left a comment on its talk page. In the interest of full disclosure, I am currently a Google employee (although I most certainly do not speak for them!), so I didn't feel right changing the page itself. On one hand, I have insider information that leads me to think that this "confirmation" was flawed, somehow, but on the other hand, I did not have any solid references of my own, I have non-disclosure obligations to my employer, and lastly, the very fact that my employer is the subject of that page. That didn't seem right, so I took a middle road and left this comment, with a link to (somewhat) better discussion. Pphaneuf (talk) 06:42, 18 July 2008 (UTC)
